Hello, My name is Victoria Loring! I am the owner and head floral designer of Mica Mine Floral. I started this small shop out of my home 5 years ago! Before starting my own business I learned under the owners of two wonderful floral companies - Halladays Flowers And Gifts in Bellows Falls And Floral Designs By Linda Perron In Claremont, NH. I wouldn't have been able to enter into this journey with such confidence had I not been mentored by such great people. Mica Mine Floral was created in 2021; in Unity NH. I started off with daily deliveries to surrounding towns. Through this process I gained a lot of new friends and met many new people. I started doing weddings and events my second year; which at first was terrifying and not my favorite floral subject. Now that I have learned so much for each one; I love taking on challenges and creating pieces I never have before. Now as my Shop is entering into year 6, I have taken on so many weddings and events that it was time to change the focus. For me to be able to give my wedding and event clients the attention needed; it was time to let daily deliveries go..for now. Through each event I have learned new techniques, what flowers work best in what season, what tools you need all the time and that having a solid team for those big days makes a huge difference. Though my shop has been open and growing I am proud to say I am still working out of my house in beautiful Unity and I will continue to do my work here for as long as I am able! And don't worry daily deliveries will continue during major holidays and during NH's growing season. I am forever grateful to my husband and family for all their support.
